Leah Maxwell Appointed as Executive Officer of the Adelaide Hills Region Waste Management Authority

Today, Chair of the Adelaide Hills Region Waste Management Authority (AHRWMA) and Adelaide Hills Councillor, John Kemp, announced Leah Maxwell as Executive Officer of the Authority.


“Following a highly contested and rigorous recruitment process, which attracted an extremely high calibre of applicants, the Board, comprising delegates of the Rural City of Murray Bridge, Adelaide Hills Council, Mount Barker District Council and Alexandrina Council, is extremely pleased with the appointment,” said Cr Kemp.


“Leah offers the organisation a unique mix of significant technical expertise in the industry, leadership in a transforming environment and a number of years of experience in like roles,” said Cr Kemp.


Leah commenced in the role on 18 October 2019, and the Board is looking forward to working with Leah.


Ms Maxwell stated, “I’m extremely happy to have been appointed to the position of Executive Officer, and I look forward to leading the organisation in its next phase of growth and development.”


“I also look forward to collaborating with peers in the industry, to ensure a co-ordinated approach to current and challenging industry issues,” said Ms Maxwell.
